Funny Face recalls how he was sacked from FanMilk over flatulence (Video)
Ghanaian comedian Funny Face has opened up about his difficult early working life before finding fame in entertainment.
Speaking in an interview with Kula, Funny Face revealed that he worked several factory jobs, including a role at FanMilk, before becoming a household name.
According to him, he worked at the sealing department where his duty was to seal FanMilk products delivered through a conveyor belt system.
Funny Face recounted an embarrassing incident that eventually cost him his job. He explained that workers were only allowed to use the washroom one at a time, and while waiting for another colleague to come out, he could no longer hold himself.
“I was sacked over flatulence, which was not my fault,” he said.
The comedian disclosed that management dismissed him the next day over the incident despite his explanation.
“They called me and said I knew what I did. I said it was a mistake,” he recalled.
Funny Face added that life was difficult during that period because he had no stable direction and kept moving from one job to another while trying to survive and support his family.
He added that he did not inform people around him about the dismissal, even though news of it spread.
He also reflected on how those early experiences shaped his outlook on life and work.
