“Honor Your Parents” – Shatta Wale Tells Fans As He Reveals What He Has Done For His Parents

In a recent TikTok Live session, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale, one of Ghana’s greatest exports, gave a rare look into his family life and revealed a more reflective side as he counseled his fans.

Speaking directly to his fans, the artist cited the well-known biblical precept of respecting one’s parents. He said that, in his opinion, this obligation is not just stated verbally but is also shown by consistent behavior over time and that he has already fulfilled that obligation.

Shatta Wale talked about his connection with his mother and said that he had bought her four automobiles so far. He said that his acts of gratitude are still continuing, saying, “I’m not done yet,” as he intends to buy her another car soon.

His comments revealed a strong feeling of appreciation and dedication, especially to the woman he acknowledges as having played a significant role in his upbringing.

His tone grew more reflective when the conversation shifted to his father, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Sr. According to him, his father is content both monetarily and spiritually; therefore, it’s challenging to choose a present that would appropriately honor his status. However, he said that he gave him a Land Cruiser as a token of gratitude and respect.

The artist addressed attitudes about his origins in addition to tangible gestures. He refuted the myth that he only overcame adversity by admitting that, despite certain challenges, he was brought up in a stable and encouraging environment. “I was not born poor,” he said, emphasizing his father’s mentoring in particular.
