According to veteran highlife artist Rex Omar, he was persuaded that he had already met his future bride prior to their first in-person meeting by spiritual visions and recurrent dreams.
Based on the insights of Ghanaian highlife legend Rex Omar, his wife was introduced to him in a mystical manner long before fate brought them together. The seasoned singer claims that years before they ever had a face-to-face conversation, he had irrefutable faith in the woman he would marry as a result of recurrent visions and spiritual experiences.
When asked about his decision to be married at the age of 24, Rex Omar denied that it was hasty or impetuous. Rather than being influenced by youthful haste, he explained that it was a well-considered decision that was influenced by what he views as divine understanding. He claimed that the spiritual encounters provided him with confidence and clarity long before reality set in.
The musician said in an interview with George Quaye on Joy Prime that there was only recognition and no hesitancy when he finally met his future wife in person. She was already acquainted with him.
He said:
I got married to my wife very early, at age 24. I saw my wife spiritually before I met her.
The very day I saw her, I knew she was my wife. I knew her in my visions and my dreams before I met her personally.
