Kuami Eugene has set his eyes on obtaining the legendary status of Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi, and Daddy Lumba, among others.
In a new interview with KMJ of Joy Prime, he remarked that while he understands that he would not always be in demand as an artist, he is confident that he will be treated with the same amount of respect as the aforementioned artists.
He stated that he will take time out to be a family man, but that he will return “I’ll be happy because I’ll be a legend… I’m still the Rockstar, don’t get me wrong. Kuami Eugene, like Daddy Lumba, Dada KD, Amakye Dede, and Kojo Antwi, will never be replaced in Ghana.

Meanwhile, Mark Okraku-Mantey, the Deputy Minister-designate for Tourism, Arts and Culture, has announced that an ultra-modern recording studio will be erected in Ghana’s northern region under his supervision.
When asked about the importance of the Northern region, he stated that many Ghanaians’ perceptions of Northerners changed after artist Fancy Gadam defied convention by selling out the National Theatre with his concert.
