Individual success must come first – Stonebwoy on why he can’t team up with Shatta Wale, Sarkodie
Ghanaian artiste Stonebwoy has stressed the importance of individual progress in the music industry amid ongoing conversations about a possible joint performance with Sarkodie and Shatta Wale on a major international stage.
Speaking during a conversation with content creator Kobe Boujee , Stonebwoy explained that while collaboration is possible, it should not come at the expense of personal growth.
“It’s important for each of us to be progressing and then when the time comes we can only probably share one stage at a time,” he said.
He pushed back against suggestions that the three artistes must unite as a group to achieve global success.
“It doesn’t have to be like we all have to become a group right now to succeed,” he noted.
According to him, the strength of any future collaboration will depend on how well each artiste builds their individual brand.
“The individual success is important, and how it relates to each other’s success also tells a lot,” he added
