Ghanaian actor Stephen Yaw Mawunyo, better known by his stage name Oteele, has talked candidly about the material benefits of his acting profession, which he jokingly calls “fooling.”
The Kumawood comedian and actor gave an amazing list of assets and achievements he has made during his career in entertainment in an interview with Ruthy of Sean City TV.
Oteele claims that his acting profession has allowed him to purchase two parcels of land, a car, and a five-bedroom house.
Beyond these personal assets, he also disclosed that he has been able to establish a small orphanage that currently houses about 30 children. “Most of these children are orphans.
I take care of them; those who want to go to school, I send to school. Those who prefer learning a trade are supported to do so,” Oteele stated.
