Richie Mensah, songwriter, and record label owner, has finally responded to Nigerian artist Oduma Essan’s lawsuit against his signee Kuami Eugene.
We reported earlier yesterday that Nigerian artist Ottomi Patrick Akhere called Oduma Essan has accused Kuami Eugene of copying the concept and elements for his track “Show Body,” which was released last year.
Richie Mensah, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment, responded to the news by blaming Ghanaian bloggers and media sources for labeling Kuami Eugene as a lazy musician, allowing outsiders to sue the young superstar if their line or concept accidentally collides with his.
Richie Mensah also issued a strong warning to bloggers and media outlets that smear the 24-year-old singer’s image to stop doing so.
Richie Mensah commented on the matter, saying that Oduma Essan’s lawsuit against Kuami Eugene makes no sense because Eugene’s music was released before his.
Richie concluded his statement by saying that it is none of anyone’s concern whether Kuami Eugene is sued or not, and that the media should stop spreading fake news and garbage.
