Speaking on Kumasi-based Fakye TV, actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin is supporting the dismissal of players who are not dedicated to the Black Stars.

He believes it’s time for players who don’t put in their best effort to be benched so others who want to play can have a chance.

“We need scouts who will find the best local talent; it’s about time.” They can cut out some of the international players who don’t offer their best when chosen if they have at least 10 of Ghana’s best.

I believe that if this is done, it will promote competitiveness and guarantee that all invited players give it their all. I think going this approach would assist in bringing the Black Stars back to prominence, much like John Dramani Mahama was shown the way out in 2016 and brought back in 2024,” he stated.
