Elmina Sharks Football Club owner and well-known businessman Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has launched a harsh attack on the Ghana Football Association (GFA), accusing its leadership of misusing FIFA funds while ignoring the demands of clubs, players, and referees.
Dr. Nduom demanded a thorough reform of the GFA in a forcefully written Facebook post, claiming that its executives put their own interests before Ghanaian football’s advancement.
Dr. Nduom voiced significant anger with the present situation of football in Ghana, querying why the nation continues to tolerate institutional flaws that have led to tragedies, financial instability, and bad results by the national side, the Black Stars.
He wrote:
The GFA needs a serious overhaul. A few people at the top feed on FIFA money and leave the clubs, referees, and players hungry. What are we waiting for? More deaths, bankruptcies, and Black Stars losses?
