“There’s Been A Time I Almost Ate From Dog’s Plate Because Of Hunger” – Kantanka’s Son, Kwadwo Safo Jnr.
Ghanaian entrepreneur, who is the son of Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, has talked candidly about his modest upbringing and the perseverance it took to become a prosperous businessman.
Kwadwo Safo Jr. discussed faith and trusting in God without exercising hard work in a video that went viral.
With pride, the poultry farmer said that he routinely gets up at four in the morning to train his employees to feed the chicks and maintain the facilities.
He argued rationally that young men in Ghana cannot launch a business with GH¢ 10 or establish a brand with a single pencil, as is a common practice among investors.
He said:
“It is hard for people to believe, but there was a time when I had nothing. You have to put in the work. People don’t know this about me.
I have eaten life as a rich man’s son, and I have seen life as a poor person who almost ate from a dog’s plate. I did because there was no food.”
“My father is a typical example of a nobody to somebody. A typical example is from Total Rags to Riches.”
