Ghanaian rapper and street Jesus Paul Amankwah, better known as Kweku Smoke, is pissed after he felt disrespected by comments made by media personality Till Akua Nipaa.
According to Tilly, he feels Kweku Smoke is just a street guy who has no hit song, but he’s been pushed by the street of favoritism to be the overall artist of the year in the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, which he will be competing with King Paluta, Team Eternity, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Black Sherif, and Joe Mettle.
Hearing her comment, Kweku Smoke felt unpleasant and replied to her, saying he and his team are not after awards; however, he feels his work should not be disrespected because it’s not easy coming out with an album that a person can sing and relate to from A to Z.
Kweku Smoke in his own words, wrote:
Funny thing is we no even Dey after ur awards.Take it home but don’t disrespect man e work. You know what e take to create albums people go sing from 1 to 10 twice.
How many independent artist out of their own pocket few pull what we do for revival. If man disrespect u now
