Wondered how Serebour would sound calling the most decorated African rapper. Yes, that was the name of Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo before he eventually moved to the popular Sakodie we all know now.

According to music producer Killbeatz, who sat on the tables of 3music talking about how important it is to have a good stage name that will sell your brand, the name Sarkodie started with was revealed.

According to Killbeatz, our very own King Sark started off using the name Serebour but had to change it along the line to help him sell his brand, and that’s it.

In the same interview, he advised up-and-coming musicians to be very skeptical about the name they choose for their brands because that is what will project them to the world.
