Ghana Police Mishandled My Rape Case – Mzbel Cries
Musician Belinda Nana Akua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel has expressed her dissatisfaction in how Ghana police handled her case after she was raped by some armed robbers.
In an interview with Kofi TV, the sixteen years hit-maker count down her sad experience with armed robbers back in the days; according to her, the robbers raped her together with her friends at gunpoint.
According to her, they reported the case to the police but the approach was disappointing; she stated that they (the victims) had to look for the rapists all by themselves.

“We went to Labadi beach after the incident and saw one of the armed robbers and called the police; they told us that they had no cars available, so we told the security at the gate of labadi beach and he also planned with the boys at the beach and they arrested the guy and sent him to the police station”, the musician said.
She added that the one they arrested led them to the whereabouts of the remaining gang and they were equally arrested and jailed.
She however lamented that the said rapists were reported to have escaped jail after pouring a bowl of soup into the face of the police officer in charge.
Mzbel seems disappointed with how the case was handled back in the days told her story on Kofi TV.
