Efia Odo Advices Ghanaians To Vote For Politicians who Will Invest In The Country

Efia Odo, a controversial Ghanaian model and media personality, has given advice to the general public on which politicians to vote for in elections.

Ghanaians should avoid voting for politicians that make so many promises throughout their campaign season, according to the social media influencer. Politicians who pledge to provide roads, schools, and portable drinking water, among other things, she claims, are not worth voting for.

She went on to say that such things are essential social amenities that politicians are required to provide for their constituents, thus it's not proper if a politician pledges to offer these fundamental facilities for his or her constituents while campaigning.

She further explained that Ghanaians should start thinking about voting for politicians who would invest in the nation to make people's lives better and easier rather than politicians who make a lot of promises.

However, Efia Odo and other social media celebrities have been putting pressure on politicians with their #FixTheCountry protest on different social media platforms for a few weeks now.

Taking to twitter, the model wrote:

People need to stop voting for politicians who promises them roads, schools, hospitals &running water. That is something that is mandated. Nnanka who's supposed to do those things, the citizens ? They are supposed to do that !Vote for politicians who will invest in the country!
