“I Go Broke Too, I’m Not Always Rich” – Medikal Reveals
Medikal, the award-winning Ghanaian rapper, has confessed that despite his opulent lifestyle, he gets absolutely broke sometimes.
In a recent interview, Medikal said that he had gone broke due to a lack of funds.
He claims that giving money to fans does not imply that he is always wealthy. Hard labor, he said, is what keeps him going.
“Most of the time, when I go out to town, I hand over cash. But, on occasion, I become bankrupt, and it is something that most people are unaware of. We don't always have money to spend or send out to fans. That is why we will keep working hard.” In a recent interview, Medikal disclosed.
According to Medikal, it's past time for people to stop believing that all Ghanaian musicians are wealthy and can afford to be flashy all of the time.
He went on to advise the youth to be careful with their money and to work harder in order to reach the top.
However, Shatta Wale, the outspoken dancehall musician, has been accused of gathering a group from Nima to attack road workers after being denied access to a certain route in a video circulating on social media.
According to the witness who recorded the incident, the self-proclaimed dancehall king was the mastermind behind the mayhem.
