“I Have No Plans Of Going To Tertiary After WASSCE”- Yaw Tog Reveals

Ghanaian hip hop star, Yaw Tog, a senior high school student at Opoku Ware, has said that he has no plans to continue once he graduates.

During an exclusive interview with MzGee on TV3, the young rapper said that after finishing his senior year of high school, he will take a break to focus on his music.

The rapper also criticized how his celebrity in the industry causes some of his friends to picture and video him and monitor his whereabouts. He said that he had previously allowed his students to shoot him, but that this had become unbearable for him, so he had to stop.

He described confronting a buddy who had taken a photograph of him while he was eating and forcing him to remove the photo from his phone.

“I was eating one day when someone took a picture of me. Then I approached the person, got the phone, and deleted it. And I was wondering to myself, “Why, bro?” So I’m not allowed to eat? And I told him, “Bro, let me delete this photo before it leaks when it drops.” “I will be dead,” he said.

In the same interview, Yaw Tog stated that his collaboration with Stormzy on his “Sore” remix helped him gain popularity in Ghana. Most People in Ghana, he claims, were unaware of Stormzy until he collaborated with him on a song.
