“The Ghetto Youth Are My People” – Gospel Musician Akesse Brempong
Akesse Brempong, the multi-award-winning musician and recording artist, has revealed why he admires ghetto youth.
He claims that he loves them for no particular reason other than that they are all close to his heart.
“I don’t know but I have a particular place in my heart for the ghetto youngsters,” he told Doctar Cann on Happy98.9FM’s Ayekoo After Drive Show. I believe it’s because I enjoy reggae music, and the majority of them are similar to these tunes.”
He said, “Through my songs and some outreach that he and his team have undertaken, we have been able to attract a few ghetto teenagers closer and transform their thinking and lifestyle.”
He stated, “We even cooperated with one center to treat some of these patients, and they are now doing well for themselves.”
Instead of condemning and driving individuals away, he recommended the audience attempt talking to most of them and drawing them closer.
