, the Ghanaian actress, has offered a suggestion concerning the impact of the e-levy which Ghanaians have yet to see.

Remember that the contentious electronic or digital taxation known as the “E-levy” was ultimately enacted by parliament after much debate.

The law was passed when the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, presided over the third reading in Parliament House.

The majority in parliament believes that improving the e-levy taxation system would help mobilize revenues for the country's growth. All financial transfers will be taxed under this e-levy.

Well, it appears that the passage of the e-levy has prompted Ghanaians to make their first move away from digital money transfers. Many Ghanaians, according to Joselyn, are rushing to empty their wallets in order to avoid the absurd penalties.

She argues that this decision would return Ghana to the cash system. In other news, the conclusion of digitalization will be marked by the e-levy.
