The History Behind The Trending ‘Say Kunkra’ Song

Alvaro, the Ghanaian socialite and businessman became the face of April in Ghana after going viral singing Oskido Candy but couldn’t pronounce a word in the song, and it is now a general term in the country.

Oskido, a South African musician, released the song Kunkra in 2013. The song, which has already received over 3 million views on YouTube, is a commercial for an ice cream business.
