Why I Stopped Viewing People’s Instagram And Snapchat Stories – Blaqbonez Reveals

Blaqbonez, the stage name of Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, has revealed why he quit following his musical' colleagues on Instagram and Snapchat.

In a recent tweet, the musician, who just released his sophomore album, Young Preacher, said he stopped because it made him feel less like himself.

He said that everyone always appeared to lead ideal lifestyles. He learned from them to never let other people's anxiety get to him.

He wrote:

“4 years ago i stopped watching people's IG & snapchat stories, because it always made me feel less of myself, people always seemed to have this perfect life, i told myself I won't let then tension me. I still don't watch people's stories. #AskBlaqbonez”
