No Artiste Can Fill Accra Sports Stadium, Not Even Me – Shatta Wale

According to Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian singer who is thought to have the largest fan following in the nation, no Ghanaian musician can draw enough people to a concert at the Accra Sports Stadium.

He expressed his opinion on the controversy surrounding Wizkid's performance at the Accra Sports Stadium. Live Hub Entertainment had arranged for the Nigerian musician to play at the event, but he never showed up.

Social media users are discussing the attendance at the event. For not being able to fill the stadium, several online users have criticized Wizkid and the event organizers.

A video of Shatta Wale discussing performers packing the stadium has leaked while the discussion is still going on. As someone with experience, he claimed that nobody has performed that type of event in Ghana, according to the footage.

“We've never had a show like that at the stadium where you can see that the place is filled up for one artiste, unless it's a political rally, if it's not NPP or NDC or maybe Pastor Mensah Otabil or Pastor Chris, I'm telling you people something, write it down, or Duncan Williams, or Bishop Agyin Asare, or maybe Kotoko and Hearts,” he added.

He detailed how music performances are carried out at the stadium by saying, “Each time, one side is filled.” Sometimes, if you inquire, they will inform you that the authorities prefer it another way so as to prevent the theft from being exposed.
