I Never Thought Of Becoming A Professional Footballer – Jordan Ayew

Jordan Ayew of Ghana has acknowledged that as a child, he had no true desire to play professional football.

He claimed that he enjoyed casual games with his buddies and didn’t start actively playing football until he was ten years old.

Ayew added that his parents never made him play football, despite the fact that he comes from a family that has produced generations of football players.

They encouraged and supported him and his brothers to pursue their goals, the Crystal Palace attacker claimed.

As stated by the official Crystal Palace website, Ayew added, “My parents always told us we should do whatever makes us happy, and they will be behind us.”

“They’ll be open and honest with us, and they’ll make sure we develop properly. All they wanted was for us to be content.

“I was playing football, but in my youth, I didn’t really want to play competitively,” he continued. I didn’t mind that I frequently competed against other regions with my local friends. After school, I just wanted to hang out with my friends; I didn’t want to go to practice. just to go about my normal life.”

“When I reached a certain age, around the age of 10, I joined an Under-12s team in my neighborhood, and I believe that’s when my real love for the game began for me.”
