A Collaboration With Shatta Wale Will Come, I Just Don’t Want To Rush Things – Stonebwoy
In an interview with Asaase radio, dancehall musician Stonebwoy, real name Livingstone Etse Satekla, says he is open to collaborating with Shatta Wale.
He did not, however, provide an explanation for why they were unable to work together after they settled their disagreements at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
They will collaborate eventually, according to Stonebwoy, but he doesn't want them to hurry into anything only to appease others.
It will happen, since everything has a time. I know we can shake the earth because we are both powerhouses, and as I sit here, I believe in a pure heart. I hope and pray that it doesn't get too late, but time will tell,” he remarked.
Stonebwoy joked that Shatta Wale and him would quarrel since they are opposing creatives when discussing his readiness to work with him.
When the two first made up after being barred from the VGMAs in the wake of an argument between them that ruined the 2019 event, they promised supporters a collaboration.
Even though the prohibition has been removed, the partnership has not yet taken place.
