Managing Shatta Wale, one of Ghana’s most captivating and controversial musicians, is not as difficult as it may appear if one genuinely understands him, according to multiple award-winning Ghanaian broadcaster and manager Samuel Atuobi Baah, often known as Sammy Flex.

The renowned Ghanaian Dancehall artist’s manager, Flex, refuted suggestions that managing the “Melissa” hitmaker is challenging in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.

Some people believe that managing Shatta Wale would be challenging because of the way he handled conflicts with his previous managers, Bulldog and Mr. Logic. Sammy Flex dispelled these notions, stating that the crooner is not hard to deal with if he is understood.

“If you understand Shatta Wale, managing him is not that hard. It depends on the guy managing him; you simply have to understand him and back his thoughts. You can work with someone for a very long period if there is mutual respect and his private life is not my concern.”

“You know, you can’t tell someone like Shatta Wale what’s appropriate or inappropriate. He’s familiar with the rules of the game and knows what suits him. All I have to do is encourage him to pursue his dreams and offer advice on everything he wants to accomplish. We get along well; I’ve known him for a long time, even before I started working with him,” he remarked.
