Fern Britton is an English television presenter and author. Born in Ealing, London, England, she began her broadcasting career in 1980 with Westward Television in Plymouth. She later joined BBC 1's Breakfast Time and TVS in Southampton before joining GMTV and Carlton Television.

Britton's association with ITV began in the late 1990s when she started guest presenting This Morning. In 1999, she became a full-time host, leading the show alongside John Leslie and later with Phillip Schofield. Her ITV tenure also included hosting the reality show Soapstar Superstar and co-presenting The British Soap Awards and Classical Brit Awards.
