Ghanaian celebrities that get bodily modifications, including Nana Ama McBrown and others, have been criticized by gospel musician for being conceited and selfish.

Donkor claimed that if she had the type of money that they use to improve their bodies, she would personally use it to invest in her spirit as opposed to her physical self.

The body will eventually pass away, but the spirit is eternal and everlasting, according to Donkor.

“As a minister, I can declare with confidence that, if I were given GH₵40,000 or GH₵50,000 to invest in my soul instead of my body, I would put that money toward my soul. I assure you that this body will expire eventually,” she stated on Hitz FM.

Donkor added, “The one that will not die is your soul. So we spend time looking good, and the soul looks terrible. If you have a perfect combination of the two, praise Jesus for you. But to invest so much in looking good and appearing good when your soul is dying is really a sad thing to happen to a human being. Because the most worthless creature after death is the human body. Even goats, when they die, have value because we use them in our soup.”
