“It’s Wrong For Celebrities To Share Their Problems On Social Media” – Akosua Agyapong
Akosua Agyapong feels that celebrities' habit of washing their marital laundry on social media is not a good practice, and has advised them to put a stop to it.
The legendary Ghanaian singer, dancer, and now TV personality believes that the shouting and name-calling that defines breakups on social media in today's world should be stopped.
“These issues have been bothering me for a long time, and I need to confront them. She told Graphic Showbiz, “I can't understand why a celebrity would go on social media to criticize or say horrible things about their ex-partner when they are no longer together.”
“More than that, I find it childish to see celebrities insulting each other on social media over a man or when they have a falling out. These celebrities should understand that posting about their problems on social media will only cause people to mock them rather than provide a better solution.
Before social media, there were elders in the family or the church who offered to counsel, according to Akosua Adjepong, and there is no reason why people can't go back to that.
“The counselors who spoke with you before your wedding are the best people to give you advice if you have marriage problems. It is not the greatest solution to describe what happened on social media.
“As a result of all of this, divorce rates are rising. The sooner we stop using social media to air our grievances, the better for our marriages,” she explained.
Akosua Agyapong then addressed female celebrities who flaunt too much skin on social media, saying:
“No man wants to return home with a lady who is almost nude. What would you expect the man who marries you to enjoy if you show everything to the world? How can you expect a nice man to marry you after you've revealed all to people who don't deserve to see it? ” she explained.
