At the Global Citizen Festival in Ghana, Tems, a well-known musician from Nigeria, had a truly fascinating moment when she spoke about why she continually promotes gender equality.
While the audience cheered, the hosts questioned Tems about why she continually promotes gender equality in her songs and podcast.
The singer responded by saying she was in favor of it because women don’t have enough opportunity.
She went on to declare that she would give women more opportunities and chances if she could.
Tems said, “We don’t get enough chances. Women need more chances, women need more opportunities in this world. And if I can give it, why not.
“I feel if you love someone you show them off. And I want to show off every woman in this world because they deserve it”
