According to Barcelona star and young wonder Lamine Yamal, he views his age as less of a barrier and has no fear of performing on a large platform.
With two assists in Saturday’s Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid, the young sensation has emerged as one of Hansi Flick’s key players this season.
Throughout his club and national career, the 17-year-old has dismissed pressure and stated in a pre-game conference that he was not afraid to play Inter in the Champions League semi-final.
He said in the pregame conference:
“I haven’t had that fear, but I do have the motivation before the game. I left that fear behind in the park in Mataro a long time ago. I wouldn’t call it pressure. In the end, I go out and enjoy myself. I take it as a good thing, and I feel like I have to enjoy the moment.”
