Following the warning from Nigerian director Bimbo, Ghanaian actor Lil Win has blasted Ghanaian television stations for unlawfully streaming his and other filmmakers’ work.
Lil Win cautioned the TV stations and their CEOs who were still supporting the unlawful conduct in an April 29 internet video.
The Kumawood actor based his case on the practice of TV networks paying to get Asian soap opera rights while ignoring local producers.
Ghanaian TV stations ought to be permitted to fund local productions for their viewers in the same manner that they do international material, claims Lil Win.
