A tragic event has shaken the Krofrom community in Kumasi. Patricia Nimako, 27, a Mobile Money MoMo vendor, was shot and killed by robbers, leaving the area in deep sadness and concern.
Witnesses say two men on a motorbike approached Patricia, pretending they wanted to withdraw money.
When she tried to help, one man got off the bike, showed a gun, and demanded her cash.
Patricia resisted, leading to a struggle, and the gunman shot her twice.
The robbers escaped with mobile phones and GH¢10,000.
This incident has left residents frightened and worried about the rise in attacks on MoMo vendors.
Her body is at the morgue, and authorities are investigating to find those responsible. Police urge anyone with information to come forward to help.
Patricia’s family has not yet spoken about the incident.
