GES Interdicts Okadjakrom SHS Teacher Over Alleged Sexual Misconduct With Student

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has taken decisive action following the circulation of a disturbing video involving a teacher at Okadjakrom Senior High Technical School in the Jasikan Municipality of the Oti Region.
The teacher, identified as Mr. Mfo Richard Tibetor, has been interdicted over allegations of sexual misconduct with a female student.
According to an official release dated October 2, 2025, GES described the alleged act as unacceptable, unethical, and a violation of the professional code of conduct for teachers.
The statement further revealed that Mr. Tibetor has been prohibited from accessing the school premises while investigations are ongoing.
GES emphasized that the safety and protection of students remain its highest priority. It assured parents, guardians, and the general public that any teacher found guilty of compromising the wellbeing and dignity of students will face strict disciplinary measures, including legal consequences.
