“People Of Takoradi Supports Their Own But There Is More Room For Improvement” – Ayesem
Ayesem, a Ghanaian hip hop and hiplife recording artist from Takoradi, has added his voice to the debate about whether or not Takoradi residents support their own.
The rapper, for one, claims that his supporters provide him with the necessary support; nevertheless, he believes that there is still space for growth.
On the ‘Ryse N Shyne’ show on Y97.9FM, he shared with Chelsy Sey.
“Everyone has their own idea of what it means to help oneself, so you can’t make someone else do it for you. In some ways, I feel encouraged, but in my area, I expect more. Even though the help hasn’t met my expectations, so far all has gone well.”
Even though it is not from others, I believe Takoradi has been there for me since the beginning. And you won’t get universal interest with anything you do. It’s perfectly natural.”
The “Koti” crooner goes on to say that he will be “hailed by everyone” at the appropriate moment.
Meanwhile, it seems that the artist is enjoying the recognition he gets from his fans, as he says: “One thing about becoming a star or a celebrity is that you inspire people, and seeing some of these crowds makes you feel that they have noticed your hard work.” They are motivated. When people meet you, they tell you how much your music has influenced them. This motivates you to work more as an artist.
