“Politics In Ghana Is Serious Business” – Salinko

Kumawood actor , also known as Abraham Davis in private life, has outlined his reasons for wanting to join politics and aiming to be their Member of Parliament (MP).

In an interview, he stated that he entered politics just to aid his people.

told Abena Ghana on the “Journey Show” that he wanted to serve his people but was disappointed that Ghanaian politicians did not share his vision.

“I entered politics to serve my people, but politics in Ghana isn't about helping people; it's a game,” he explained.

He went on to say that if politics is about caring for people, then no one would doubt him when he enters politics.

“If politics is genuinely for the people, they will not have doubted me when I entered politics because they know what I can do for my people,” he added. “However, because politics is a business, they do not see that business in me.”

However, Shatta Wale, the popular Ghanaian dancehall artist, wants the government to devote 10% of its funding to sports to the music business.

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, attended a breakfast meeting with CEOs of corporate institutions last month, during which the Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif, projected that the Black Stars' participation in the two tournaments would cost the government a quarter of a billion dollars.
