“Our Generation Is Still Paying For Interest On Loans Borrowed By Our GrandFathers” – Stonebwoy
Stonebwoy, a multi-award-winning Ghanaian afro-dancehall musician, feels saddened for this generation after years of repaying loans and obligations incurred by their forefathers.
The singer of “Putuu” has voiced concern about how this generation continues to pay debts as new loans are secured by current administrations.
In the early hours of Tuesday, June 8, he expressed his sentiments in a tweet.
Although it’s unclear what prompted his post, President Akufo-recent Addo’s loan for the formation of the Development Bank of Ghana (DBG) has been the talk of the town.
He tweeted:
“Already our generation is still paying interests owed to the foreign donors of loans our Great GrandFathers borrowed… #MoreYawa,”
However, Emmanuel Ato Quamina Amonoo, better known in entertainment as Quamina MP, a young Ghanaian artist, has stated that he is a pious guy but does not attend church.
He told the presenter of Kastle FM that he is a devout Christian but does not attend Sunday church services. Quamina MP told Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show in Cape Coast that his connection with God is perfect.
