“I Don’t Care About Political Parties, I Just Want Our Systems To Work” – Sarkodie
Sarkodie, the Ghanaian rapper, has urged politicians to let the systems work in order to accelerate development.
In a recent interview with the Financial Times, the rapper expressed his dissatisfaction with political parties, stating that he is more concerned with Ghana and putting the people first.
He admitted that when the Ghanaian system isn’t working, he becomes anxious and rants.
“I don’t care about political parties; I care about my nation and putting people first,” he explained. That is why I occasionally become entangled in politics.
“To tell you the truth, I want everyone to be OK. I want our hospitals to function properly, our roads to function properly, and our systems to function properly. When I’m anxious, I’ll vent about it.”
“I want to give back to the entertainment business that produced me Sarkodie,” he remarked when asked about the industry. I want to make a lot of changes for future generations; I want them to have a good time. That’s the first box I’m going to check.
“A lot of individuals with no skill are making it a lot bigger than those who have a lot of talent. He went on to say, “It’s what you set your mind to.”
The Adonai hitmaker also stated that he would like to have the ability to improve people’s lives.
