Twene Jonas, the Ghanaian socialite resident in the United States, has praised Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the new Inspector General of Police, for the recent arrests of Ghanaian celebrities.

This week has been one of the most difficult, yet hilarious, weeks in recent memory, as the police have made a series of arrests that have shaken the industry and Ghana as a whole. The first three arrests took place on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

This week, the police detained three celebrities, which has sparked a lot of discussions. The first arrest was conducted at the Kofi TV studios when Funny Face was detained for threatening his coworkers and his baby mom Vanessa. Kalybos, Bismark the Joke, and James Gardiner were all threatened by Funny Face.

Shatta Wale and his personal aide, Nana Dope, were the second celebrity to have legal troubles. Shatta Wale and his personal assistant went into hiding after faking a shooting incident. Shatta Wale was shot and is in serious condition in the hospital, according to his PA’s Snapchat post. The artist and his PA were detained for inciting public anxiety and terror.

Medikal was the most recent celebrity to be arrested. On Thursday evening, he was detained for flashing a pistol on social media last month.

Twene Jonas praised the Police Inspector General for the latest arrest. He added that anytime he visits the United States, he will provide the IGP white ladies to have fun.
