The 7th of December has long been designated by the Ghanaian constitution as the day on which Ghanaians go out in large numbers to vote for whom they believe is fit and appropriate to rule over them.
The general elections take off every four years, meaning the next Ghana general election will be in 2024 after Ghanaians elected the interim government led by Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo in 2020.
Of what is happening in the country now, a lot of people have vowed not to vote again because they think the people we vote into office have nothing better to offer Ghanaians. After shaking the table and wanting to hear what Ghanaians had to say, media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah purposefully tweeted, “2024 by this time….” and some of the comments that came off are below:
