The “missing link” in elevating Ghanaian music, according to Efia Odo, has boldly claimed to be her.

Efia Odo highlighted that although Ghanaians tend to be resistant to change, her new musical endeavor is just what the sector needs to flourish during a recent discussion on “Stripped” with Sika Osei.

She claims that she is the perfect candidate for the job because she feels that Ghana needs someone who can offer a new and distinctive viewpoint to the sector.

She stated that she thinks she is the missing piece in the jigsaw since she feels that the Ghanaian music business is currently being driven ahead by a small group of people.

“Ghanaians don't readily accept change or new things, but something new is needed because of the state of our industry at the moment,” she said. She fervently thinks that her distinct style may have a profound effect on Ghanaian music and help it gain attention on a global scale.

Efia Odo affirms, “I am,” when Sika Osei inquires as to whether she is expressly saying that she is the missing link. She said that she views herself as the missing piece in both female musicians in general and Ghanaian female rap. Efia Odo thinks that her contributions to the music landscape in Ghana offer a novel viewpoint that hasn't been experienced before.
