Adjetey Anang, the Ghanaian actor, has disclosed that he spoke with Yvonne Nelson and advised her to be “insensitive” to criticism of her book and keep her attention on her school and the mission to improve children’s education.
Adjetey Anang recently said during a sit-down interview on UTV’s “United Showbiz” that it was vital for Yvonne to overlook critiques because she would otherwise be tempted to respond in a way that wasn’t in her best interests. This was in the midst of the disagreement that has arisen between her and Sarkodie.
“I just advised her to try not to take the comments too personally; some people are saying all kinds of things, so paying attention won’t help,” I said.
“Her focus should be on kindergarten; that should bring her joy,” he said. Since I did it once before and got into trouble for it earlier, I advised her to do the same.
“I find it extremely challenging that two individuals that I respect deeply are at odds with one another; I can’t condemn or criticize anyone.
“I really hope there will be healing and that we won’t focus on the negativity that others are injecting into this. We cannot speak for them since we are not in their position.
He said, “Let’s have a human touch; let’s be a little compassionate to these folks so we don’t split them apart.
