Patience Botwe, 18, and Sarah Agyei, 30, were detained and remanded in police custody.
Patience Botwe was later said to have utilized some of the money she stole with her accomplice to purchase a house and other valuable things.
According to reputable sources, Sarah Agyei dumped her boyfriend and father for Ghc 50,000 cedis apiece.
