In an interview with Accra 100.5 FM, well-known gospel performer Piesie Esther acknowledged that the Ghanaian gospel music industry’s participants don’t show much affection to one another.

She expressed her opinions and stated that, in contrast to her first assumptions, members of the business seldom ever express any affection for one another.

Yet she said that such conduct was typical of all corporate endeavors.

“At first, I thought the business was full of love, but now that I’m inside, I see there isn’t any love at all. However, I’ve found that each organization with a large number of employees operates in the same manner,” she said.

She linked it to interpersonal rivalry and competition. Additionally, the majority of businesspeople may grin and joke together, but they are secretly fierce rivals.

Piesie Esther used herself as an example, saying that she had to be amusing in public with some individuals even if she had no feelings for them.

There are instances when you might want to simply ignore a fellow gospel coworker because you have no sympathy for them. But all you have to do is smile and shake hands with that individual,” she remarked.

However, Piesie Esther acknowledged that while many gospel musicians work hard, there is little to no affection among them.
