Wilson played college football at North Carolina State University and later transferred to the University of Wisconsin, where he had a successful career.

In 2012, he was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the NFL Draft. Since then, Wilson has become one of the top quarterbacks in the league, known for his strong arm, mobility, and leadership skills.
