“I Will Rather Hustle And Stay In The US Than Stay Famous and Broke in Ghana” – Teephlow
Hip-hop musician Teephlow from Ghana has addressed speculations regarding his music career, specifically addressing conversations about his time spent abroad in the US.
Teephlow, who has been stationed in the US, explained his emphasis in response to assertions made by fellow Ghanaians that he has lost significance.
He emphasized in a video message that accumulating fortune overseas is his first aim, not pursuing popularity in Ghana, underscoring the need for stable finances.
I haven't given up; I would much rather continue working hard and earning money in the United States than go back to Ghana and continue to be impoverished. I don't want to get old and have others give me money. I'm not going to let it get to me,” Teephlow said.
Teephlow emphasized the value of money over celebrity, pointing out the drawbacks of being well-known yet in financial hardship.
In an attempt to avoid depending on the public for assistance in his later years, he expressed his wish to other artists not to give up long-term financial stability for short-term popularity.
