American actor Jonathan Michael Majors was born in Lompoc, California, on September 7, 1989. Due to his role in the 2019 indie feature film The Last Black Man in San Francisco, Majors gained notoriety.

Jonathan Majors became more well-known in 2020 after acting in the HBO series Lovecraft Country, for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award.

As a teenager, Majors was arrested for shoplifting, suspended from high school for fighting, and lived in his car while working two jobs after being kicked out of his house.

He eventually found solace in the world of theatre after watching Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight, which inspired him to become an actor to inspire others like Ledger did to him.

Majors studied at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and later attended the Yale School of Drama, where he graduated with an MFA degree in 2016. He resided in Georgetown, Texas, before spending his formative years in Cedar Hill, Texas.

Majors' upbringing was marked by moral complexity in his neighbors due to both negative and positive ideals. He struggled as a teenager, being expelled from his home, arrested for shoplifting, and suspended from high school after a brawl.

After watching The Dark Knight, Majors found solace in theater and joined the acting community, inspired by Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker.

Jonathan Majors has appeared in various films, including Nat Love in The Harder They Fall, Devotion, and Creed III. He also portrayed Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and He Who Remains and Victor Timely in Loki.

However, on December 18, 2023, Majors was found guilty of assault and harassment against his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, leading to Marvel Studios severing ties with him and dropping him from future projects. Sentencing is set for February 6, 2024.
