Efia Odo, a socialite, thinks that women shouldn’t have to rely on men to support them.
As is the case in Ghana, she believes that men should be their wives’ money-making machines, not their helpers.
In her opinion, mothers in Ghana should alter the unsettling guidance that young girls receive.
She revealed this by saying, “A man is not a source of income!” in a tweet she posted on X. Not an ATM card, but a man is meant to be your helpmate.
Some women argue that meeting men who are their destiny helpers is necessary for them to succeed in life, and this conversation recurs frequently on social media.
To many, they will rather be with men who have money to spend than make their own money.
