Following two games in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Ghana is winless following their 2-2 draw with Egypt on Thursday.
Due to defensive mistakes, the Black Stars missed a fantastic chance to take the lead in Group B against the Pharaohs.
Mohammed Kudus, who missed a late fitness test, managed to make it into the starting lineup and seemed like the man who would lead Ghana to victory.
Both times, Egypt overturned a goal disadvantage to secure a draw due to goals from Mostafa Mohamed and Omar Marmoush.
Despite this, the West Ham player’s two goals were inadequate.
Some netizens, though If Odoi were doing his job, we wouldn’t be seeing Bukari and Inaki in those positions, however, the ‘professor’ is the one to be blamed for the mistakes.
However, one through X said if Ghana was a serious country, the Ghanaian right back, Denis Odoi, would have been a bank teller and wouldn’t be found near football.
