Nigerian Chef Cooks For 228 Hours Non-Stop, Puts Chef Faila’s Attempt In Shambles

African-born chef Beauty Obasuyi, who is presently residing in Canada, is in the midst of an 18-day cooking marathon to break the record for the longest cooking marathon (person), a culinary accomplishment that combines expertise, endurance, and community spirit.

The daring attempt, which is being live-streamed on her YouTube channel, is taking place inside her restaurant, Naija Jollof, with the goal of breaking the record of 119 hours now held by Irish chef Alan Fisher.
After learning about Chef Faila’s remarkable 227-hour cooking marathon, she was inspired to extend her own eight-day cook-a-thon.

Obasuyi was thus compelled to prolong her cook-a-thon attempt to a tough 18 straight days of non-stop cooking in an effort to win the championship.

Obasuyi has exceeded a remarkable 228-hour milestone as of Friday at 12:30 p.m., stunning internet viewers with her culinary prowess and commitment to shattering the record.
