“Ghanaians Sent Guiness World Records Wrong Videos To Disqualify Me” – Afua Asantewaa Reveals

Afua Asantewaa has been in the spotlight for a number of reasons, which has quickly set her on an explanatory media tour. This comes days after the Guinness World Record rejected her singing marathon attempt.


During one of these media tours, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum revealed how certain Ghanaians plotted and made sure her quest to shatter the record for the longest singing session by an individual would fail.

In an interview with Adom FM, Afua Asantewaa said that during her effort to break the record, video footage of her singing marathon had already been sent to Guinness World Records in an attempt to get them to explain why she shouldn’t be allowed to keep the record.

“I was informed that some individuals had submitted videos during my attempt, pointing out specific things they believed should disqualify me, even before the GWR requested my video,” the woman stated. ”

She continued, saying, “I don’t blame them; I know some people are just that way by nature.”
