Stonebwoy, M.anifest, Burna Boy, Nasty C And Others Billed By YouTube To Perform On “Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home”
BET award winner, Stonebwoy, and Ghana’s first Grammy-nominated rapper, M.anifest and other African music stars have been charged by YouTube in collaboration with MTV Base Africa to thrill fans at home with “Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home’ concert.
The concert which comes off on the 25th of May, 2020 is aimed at raising funds to help children and families in Africa that are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with all proceeds being donated to support food and health needs for those most impacted on the continent.

The 2-hour special will be streamed and broadcast to millions of viewers in Africa and around the world on MTV channels and on the MTV Base Africa YouTube channel.

Burna Boy, Sho Madjozi, AKA, Diamond Platnumz, Sauti Sol, Yemi Alade, Fally Ipupa, Stonebwoy, Teni, Angelique Kidjo, Manifest, and many more African artists will be performing on the night.

Speaking on the program, British Actor Idris Elba who will host the program said;
“Taking a moment to shine a light on African arts to benefit the African homeland and its people. A continent of this size should find a way to dig deep and stand up for one another at a time like this. It’s important for the future and history will not forget.”
